New Rules for Powerball

Under the new rules, jackpots will start at $40 million and grow at least $10 million each time it rolls. The average new jackpots are expected to be $255 million. We could see jackpots of $500 Million, and possibly jackpots approaching One Billion! One Billion looks like this: ($1,000,000,000.00). Could we see Billionaires being made by the new powerball lottery rules? I hope so!

Second prize, matching all five numbers minus the powerball number, moves up from $200,000 to $1,000,000 ( One Million dollars ) and with the power play option, that would double to, $2 million! Each ticket will cost $2, however the number of powerballs is being reduced from 39 to 35! Which, should make it easier to match just the powerball. The lowest prize, matching just the powerball, is also being increased from $3.00 to $4.00.

Finally, you might say that tickets sold today, are being sold at a discount, $1.00. Starting January 15, 2012 ticket prices are going up to $2.00. So, get your game on now for only a dollar.
